Fayetteville Restaurant Guide

We went to Chris's on a friday and it was quite busy. We opted to go to the bar for drinks and was greeted by a beautiful blonde bartender with an enticing smile. She made our drinks perfect with good conversation! There were four of us dining and she offered for us to have dinner in the bar and so we did. They have these combination platters in the bar that they do not offer in the restaurant. We ordered steak chicken and shrimp and it was delicious! The owner came by and greeted us as well. They really know how to treat you like family at Chris's!! Would highly recommend!

Food was great !!! Hott on deliver !!! Our waitress ( PETRA) was Wonderful /she knew her special offer and knew her wines !! N fact we bought two bottles of wine from her cause she gave her personal opinion on how the wine tasted !! U can go to different restaurants But if the service is bad and the food is bad u won't come back !! Because of Petra service personality and service we will be back n fact I think she should open her own business !! Thank u Petra keep smiling and making customers happy !!

My family is new to town and we were looking for an upscale friendly place to eat a great steak.
We were NOT Dissapointed. What a wondeful experience. The service, the Food. the atmosphere WOW! one better than the other. The The steaks were cooked to perfection. the personal service from both owners and staff added a delicate touch to the dining experience. They sat and welcomed us as if we had been family. Personal service you just dont find anymore. We will actually have to go back for dessert. Dinner was exquisite! So glad we were there. With four sons and a hefty appetite on each one, Chrises Steak House was the ultimate dining Experience! We will be back.

Chris's was a big disappointment. The food was tasteless, unimaginative, and overpriced. They serve Cheez Wiz as an appetizer! The service was also very bad. Our waitress seemed to wish she were anywhere else. We sure wished we were!

I have been going to Chris' steak house since I was a child in the 1960's. Never had a better meal with better service anywhere!

My husband and i came to the restaurant for our anniversary. We went to the bar first, as we were waiting on our table. Brandy or Randy was the bartender that helped us and we thought she was very good. We decided to actually just eat at the bar, since she offered us menu's and good company. We have been back 2 times since and have no complaints.

You will not get your moneys worth here. I wanted to enjoy this place so much. When I walked in I was surprised, considering there is a huge ugly cow on the roof and a flashing sign, the interior was quit nice. However, as soon as I seated myself at the bar I was met by a very nice looking bartender with barbie like hair. Instead of a pleasant demeanor, she laid it on thick with bad attitude. I thought she might own the place! When seated the waitstaff was not much better. My waitress actually rolled her eyes when walking away when I sent the processed cheese app. back! The food was dry and flavorless and the desserts were obviously ordered from the same place everyone else in town oreders them from. Nothing special and very expensive. If you want a nice night our, go to Hilltop House or just drive to Raleigh. Hope this helps!

I THOUGHT THAT CHRIS'S OPEN HEARTH STEAKHOUSE WAS THE BEST DINNER EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD IN ALL OF THE TRAVELING THAT I HAVE DONE. THE WONDERFUL STAFF TREATED US AS THOUGH WE HAVE BEEN GOING THERE FOR YEARS. ANYONE WHO VISITS FAYETTEVILLE, NC SHOULD STOP IN JUST TO TRY ONE OF THEIR FAMOUS STEAKS. AND DONT FORGET ABOUT DESSERTS. THEY HAVE SOME OF THE BEST CHEESECAKE EVER TASTED.
