We have been to China Rose several times and have always had an enjoyable experience. The raspberry saki margaritas are fabulous. I am a restaurant manager and bartender for over 30 years. We enjoy going across the river to dine when I can get a day off.

Best "chinese" in the area. Not your typical chinese, victorian home converted to restaurant

Food is phenominal. Saki margheritas are even better. Highly recommend goat chs wantons for app.

My husband and I were very disappointed with the Zagat rating of this establishment. The view was lovely so we chose to sit in the outdoor, but enclosed section of the restaurant. No sooner had the sun set than it became too cold to enjoy the atmosphere, partially due to the heater that didn't work. The noodles and duck sauce arrived quickly at our table, but were tasteless. The shrimp wonton soup tasted like it had been made with dirty dish water, as did the chicken and broccoli. No warning on the shrimp and garlic sauce that it was made with extremely hot spices. Overall, a great disappointment.
