A diner from Half Moon Bay

I live in Half Moon Bay and have tried to like this local Chinese restaurant. After several attempts I've given up. My experience is that the food is inconsistent. Sometimes it can be remarkably good: fresh, lean and tasty. Other times the same dish will be greasy, or bland, or slathered in gooey starch sauce which wasn't there the time before. For me, though, the biggest problem is the aggressive rudeness of the fellow who seems to be the owner. All through the meal he'll be shouting - and i mean red-in-the-face screaming - at his staff. Or at me. At the end of my final attempt to like the food there, as I was trying to get up to leave, he got literally into my face screaming "WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE CHICKEN!!" I'm not going to go there any more. A shame, because a quality local Chinese place would see a lot of me.
