Since the early 1990's,or earlier even, I have been going to this restarant(in Riverside)! It has always been the place of peace and joyful eating and contemplation. Saddness struck my heart when I found it had gone out of business. There will never be another like it. I have never written to anything on the internet before, however, I have many times rued the passing of my most cherished place to dine. The crab rangoon and the Buddist-feast were two of my favorite items on the menu. Forever you will be in my heart as the finest dining experience I've ever had or ever will have. Thank-you for being near the UCR and for trying to stay true to those who did, and still do, love you! Please find your way back! Always Yours, M Manter

I've been going to this restaurant for many years and will continue. The food, and service are impeccable. Thank you for the wonderful years and to come.
I visited Chan's Monday Feb. 18. There were no exterior lights to welcome customers. When my date and I entered, a lady with her children were ahead of us. After about 5 minutes I asked her how long she had been waiting, as no one came to the lobby to welcme us. She said she had been there 10 minutes and no one has even been out to accommodate her.
Another couple came in after us. They left after 5 minutes as no help came. Although 3 staff came past us, no one expressed an interest to even explain that service was slow. We all just left. Its the last time we will ever visit Chan's
