We drove to Bokellia on a whim during our stay in Matlacha. We loved the view of the water and the long dock. We decided to grab a bowl of chowder and a cold beer at Capt'n Con's. We walked in and were not greeted by the girl at the hostess stand. We finally asked if we could be seated and she told us to go whereever we wanted. After we sat, girls were serving tables, cleaning up, and talking to the locals all around. We were not ever even greeted and after 10 minutes of sitting with no one to even say "someone will be right there" we left. Too bad. We don't have high expectations for local joints and consider ourselves pretty low maintenance diners. We were not welcomed here and there was no mistaking it.

ended up getting food borne illness on 10 21 07 they were very arrogant and assumed no responsibilty!

This place is just to die for. It has a great view, wonderful food, and such cheerful people. If you want to go somewhere, were they make you feel at home I suggest Captn Cons!!!!
