Cafe West is the best restaurant in Michigan! We have been going there for five years since they opened and have never had a bad experience. The fresh salt water fish is so delicious, there is nowhere around downriver where you can get a meal this delicious! They also have great steaks--a one pound rib eye that is char-grilled. They also have chicken, oysters, lots of shrimp, lobster, fish and a full bar. We would highly recommend this restaurant--the service is awesome. Very nice people, very good food. 5 stars.

Cafe West is the best restaurant in the entire downriver area. There is so much to choose from: lots of appetizers, including oysters, shrimp & duck egg rolls! Also, the fresh seafood is outstanding. There is a small bar, but a great selection of unique wine & beer. They also offer liquor, as well. The service is always efficient and friendly. Cafe West is our favorite restaurant ever!!!
