I have frequented this restaurant for close to 10 yrs. I moved from Arlinton 3 yrs. ago & try to go back to Cafe La Ruche when I'm in DC.3-4 times/yr.B'fast or Brunch is outstanding, omelletes & eggs benedict delicious. Breads & desserts & pastries to die for. It is also a great price performer. Eat outside or inside. On a spring or fall day in DC it can be very romantic. You can dress any way you like & the owners try to make you feel at home. If you don't like it, something is wrong.
This was absolutely the worst dining experience I've ever had, anywhere. I had a large party in this restaurant. the food came out a little at a time, dish by dish, and it took about an hour for all the dishes to appear. When they did they were cold.
