My friends and I were going to Broken Egg Café for my birthday brunch, Tuesday, November 4, 2008. A few people in the party have been there and have bragged on how great the food was. We were all so excited. That excitement quickly vanished when I call ahead to let them know we were coming with a group of 8 people. No only was the hostess (which is also the manger) rude she seemed to care less that we were trying to help them out by call ahead to let them know the size of our party. Well the rudeness did not stop once we arrived. We said that we would be there for 9:30 and arrived for 9:15. We could see our table set and ready for us to be seated. That never happened; she refused to seat up because one person was not there. When we explained that she was getting off the interstate and we would like to sit and have a drink. We were told that we could not be seated because we were “trying to buck the system that they had in place.” She continued to tell me that “if you people would just be honest this would not be happening” I not sure what she was talking about but once I was called a LIER I turned around and walked out! If this is the type of people that either own or work there then I hope the food makes up for the RUDENESS! I will never return there and nether will the friend who once recommended them!
Best pizza place on the Northshore! If you like being treated like family, and having a true Italian experience, this restaurant is for you! Fun, Friendly, and Fabulous!
Awesome restaurant, great food, wonderful people, fun time! The first time we went, the owners introduced themselves to us and made us feel at home. Everything we have eaten there is excellent. Pizza, spaghetti, lasagna, etc. - always great. And

"The North Shore really needed a place like this" are the first words that came out of my mouth. It's a super nice bar with very good tapas-style food. Huge bar area, comfy and cozy couch seating. Wine, mixed drinks, beer, food. In a neat atmosphere
