Hatteras Restaurant Guide

My family and I are on vacation, table of 8, we knew there would be some sort of wait, but 2 HOURS & 45 mins??? I don't suggest you order a filet UNLESS you like it pink,ordering specifically well done (used to waiting not an issue for me) I had to send my $30 filet back 3x and it still wasn't fully cooked, one of my family members had to do the same w/her $21 pork chop (2x) and the server, who by the way, had too many tables to contend with, didn't offer any sort of sympathy whatsoever didn't help the situation, we felt as if the manager/owner didn't really give a hoot because she knew she wouldn't see us again, as we're "vacationers" they charged me to refill my watered down soda, can you believe that? don't take a date there... it's like sitting in a baseball game, it was INCREDIBLY LOUD I was practically yelling at my daughter sitting right next to me... there was no air conditioning as there was an issue and they didn't even offer seating on the deck? we didn't get bread w/our dinner... we were way into our dinner by the time we rec'd it... not that it affected me, BUT anyone who's got an wheelchair, forget it, there is at least 20 or so steep steps to climb to even get to the front door, no wheelchair access! OH and to get the check, was AT LEAST A 20+ MINUTE ORDEAL and it was VERY obvious that we were all done w/our meals, then it took 20 more mins to get the check back... Overall we were incredibly unsatisfied w/our dining experience this evening and we do not suggest that "vacationers" choose this location for their night out on the town... as you wouldn't make it to anywhere but there for the evening! ciao!
