My wife and I had a very uncomfortable experience at Bravo Nader, and we would not recommend it to other diners. Dinner started out fairly well. The waiter was very friendly and professional, and wine was good. Our appetizer was calamari, which was not crisp enough, but was fresh. It was accompanied by very good marinara sauce. Salad was the "Nader" salad, which was a combination of lettuces with both traditional Italian (shaved parmesan) and dessert (praline and honey) flavors. Interesting, and fairly good. Dinners were Ahi tuna over salad (fresh and good), and lemon sole almondine (not fresh, and quite fishy). When the sole was returned to the kitchen, a man (Nader, we later found out) came to our table, and loudly stated that he had tasted the sole, and that it was "fine." When my wife informed him that the fish tasted too fishy, he ignored her and confronted me, asking if I'd tasted it. The dinner experience became embarassing, and we chose to pay our check and leave, rather than have the owner embarrass us.

The best home made Italian food on LI! The seafood combinations are absolutly deliscous with enough to feed a big appetite. A unique touch with the sweet potatoes served with most meals. Definitely a treat.

Definitely the best souvlaki in the world ever since they were located in Bayville! Love that red sauce too, and this review is coming from someone who is a vegetarian!

Piccolo Mondo is one of those restaurants that keep you coming back many times. The owner Roland is warm and friendly and greeted us upon arrival. The food is always excellent. The ambience is cozy and comfortable and the service is exceptional.
