Blaze East Side Winner RI Monthly's Best of RI "Best Neighborhood Restaurant" editors and readers poll 2007 and 2008. Blaze East Side opened in August of 2005 with critical acclaim from a number of publications. See reviews. Blaze East Side is "Cookin with Fire" preparing cuisine from different regions and cultures. At Blaze our mission is to serve you great hand-crafted food, made with the finest fresh ingredients, at an affordable price in a comfortable, friendly atmosphere.
We offer a relaxed place where customers enjoy innovated food and cocktails either in the dining area or at the bar. We have created a place where there is something for everybody and where everyone is welcome. A neighborhood place where friends meet, old and new.
Come by and experience the Black Pepper Crusted Filet Mignon, Jamaican Jerk Chicken, Catfish Jambalaya, RI Style Calamari, one of our fresh Salads or Great Grilled Pizzas. Try our house-made, award winning Banana Split Chocolate Mousse Cake, and for the extreme Chocoholic there is Lava Love Chocolate Cake.
Blaze East Side in run by Christine Edmonds a business major and entrepreneur and Phyllis Arffa originally an art major, who has over 20 years of culinary experience in various restaurants around the country and in Rhode Island.
Ashirwad Elhence Chef De Cuisine originally from New Deli, India, earned his bachelors degree from Johnson and Wales University. He has cooked for such restaurants as Napa Valley Grill, Hartwell House and the Cypress Room, bringing his unique style to the menu.
The friendly waitstaff will graciously take care of you, making for a comfortable dining experience here at Blaze East Side.
