Great place to dine. Friendly people and good service. Potions are large and the price is fair. Seafood platters and steaks are the specialty. There is something for everyone including hamburgers, poboys, and hamburger steaks. Kid friendly which is nice after a long day at the river.

I've been to this place about 5 or 6 times and loved it each time. Friendly staff, delicious food and large portions. I am from Houston and go to Berthelot's each time I am in the area. My favorite is their crab cakes. My husband and teenage boys love the shrimp poboys, burgers, fried catfish and seafood platters. Anita Lee

This is a local restaurant that serves home style lunches, has a awesome breakfast menu and food. Their main menu is Steak/seafood type meals. It's been open on this site for many many years. Casual dress and a local place for meals. Their hamburgers are great with fries or onion rings. I rate this as a great all American food restaurant.
