Having visited this restaurant a few years ago I wanted to see if it had a different appeal as well as a typically German feel to it.
As I entered the restaurant there were lots of items that remind you of Germany. The decorative setting is quite original. You could also buy items. i.e. souvenirs, and chocolates from Germany. We soon sat down (we could choose our table) and ordered Soup, Schnitzels and beer. The Bavarian Lager from the tap quenched the thirst, and everything seemed just wonderful. As we tasted the Soup, and then the Schnitzels we found both poor in quality. I had the Jaeger Schnitzel, and it tasted pre cooked and now warmed up. The mushroom sauce on top of the Schnitzel had very little taste. The dish was missing the typical Jaegerschnitzel flavor you would expect. To mention the soup - it was the liver dumpling soup which had only little pieces of liver dumpling instead of a dumpling in it, and it's boullion was very salty.
The regular Schnitzel that my friend ordered was fried in batter and did not appear or taste fresh. All in all the food experience was not what we remember from Germany!

This place is the best. I took my husband for his birthday and they sang Happy Birthday to him. The food is great, the place makes you feel like you are at home in Germany, the staff is great and so nice. Even our 10 yr and 4 yr old loved it.
