What I miss most about Madison is Bahn Thai. What this cinder block restaurant lacks in ambience, it makes up for in quality and quantity of food. For your first visit, start with Tom Yum Soup with shrimp. Try the Pahd Thai for an entree and finish with Sangkaya. Excellant curry selection and native dishes for the more adventurous. Order as hot as you like. Try the Thai iced coffee in the summer. I prefer the University Avenue location (the chefs are different at the two locations.)
