Great taste chinese buffet in madison!

I went in for a lunch buffet on a Saturday afternoon. The food was decent with a nice variety of Asian dishes. The big disappointment was the price. It was $15 per person for LUNCH buffet. The prices posted on the wall conveniently did not list the price of lunch on a Saturday.

The food is wonderful. The owners are kind and welcoming. This restaurant is perfect for relaxed, kid friendly dining. I not only enjoy it for myself, but I invite friends, church groups, students and have even had a birthday party at Taste of Asia.

The food seemed like it had been sitting on the buffet line for a while. the only thing we enjoyed was the fried noodle (padd thai) and they didn't seem to cook this dish fast enough to refill. most buffets have dishes full of food, these dishes are usually only half full...probably because not enough customers go in?

We have young children and often hesitate to eat out until we discover Taste of Madison, which we quickly become regulars. The foods are fresh and authentic with a variety of different Asian selections. Kid friendly, clean, lots of vegetarian dishes to select from. My favorite are the Thai Curry Squash and fresh Vietnamese springroll.

This is the best Asian food buffet for vegetarians in Madison. All of the vegetarian foods are clearly marked and they make up for about a third of the menu. It nice to have a lot of different foods to choose from instead of just one or two things and the food is great!
