Automatic Slims Tonga Club was a pleasant surprise on a recent trip to Memphis for the Beale Street Music Festival. The cuban style sandwiches were excellent as was the fish. The service was also great, and we were fortunate to pick a day when it wasn't so crowded. The decor is quite unique as well, and they have some great local pictures of Memphis nightlife and festivals on the walls. We come to Memphis yearly for the Beal Street Festival in May, and I can say without a doubt that Automatic Slims was our best dining experience in the last 6 years of making the trip!
