I was out for dinner at Audubon's and had a great experience. Our waiter's name was John and he was the most attentive server I have found in Ames in a long time. The food was delicious, I had the plank salmon and my wife had the buttermilk chicken. I was also impressed with the wine selection that they offered. I had not been here in a while, but I will be back soon and often.

The food is good here but pricey for a Saturday lunch since the lunch specials are only available M-F.
Also, this place needs to change their carpeting or something. It smells musty like the carpeting was wet at some point.
