My family and I have gone to the Asain Buffet for many years, a few times a year when we feel like eating out but don't want anything too expensive or a big ordeal. There is never a wait for a table and the service is pretty good. It is not a high-class restaurant, but you can rarely expect an inexpensive buffet to be. They have good food and are not expensive, they are helpful and kind if you are not rude to them. I personally go for the crab legs, which are delicious.

we have eaten at the asian buffet for several years without any problems. the owner and wait staff is courteous and helpful to me and my grand kids. the food, is hot, fresh and delicious.
the asian waitresses have made little paper toys for the kids. speak kindly to them and assist with smiles since their english is poor.
i would suspect that any customer who has been treated unkindly probably deserved it or is biasesd toward asians. i will continue to bring a party of 8 to eat there on a regular basis. judge it for yourself. thanks..... a repeat customer

our overall experience was terrible, upon seating i asked for a Labatts Blue, a brand of beer which i had known to be previously on the menu. the owner and waiting staff verbally abused us stating that we knew that no alcohol would further be carried. they hovered around us like a fly on a turd waiting for anymore complaints which they obviously receive in surplus. i asked the owner if they still had a carry-out box for $4.50 which was followed by a remark stating "they couldnt afford that price any longer" i replied " well the food has to be thrown away anyway, right? or do you reheat it for the next day? he responded with an outlash of profanity and yelled at us to leave the restaurant. he began repeating in a loud tone " we class C now, you get out a**hole!!!" i replied as we exited " your no class buddy. he then gave us the ol' international sign for F*** you. under their former management we found the food to be outstanding and the wait staff friendly and courteous. we will NEVER go back there again.

In a fortune cookie, the story of the Asian Buffet on five mile rd in Plymouth, Mi is poor service, bad food, rude management and great place to avoid. I'm sure there are worse places to eat in Plymouth, maybe the prison on six mile rd. No. prison food is probably better because they at least have to meet health code standards. I'll not be back and would actively NOT recommend Asian Buffet to anyone. Bill S. 9 Jan. 2009
