The panang curry is delicious, i could bathe in it. I would drink it from a cup if it was allowed. I currently go in the bathroom with my plate when noone is looking and lick it clean. Its so good it will make you wanna slap your momma.

The food is good although the portion sizes have gotten smaller with prices going up. You can get in & out during lunch if you order the special (which is a good price). However, don't order off the menu unless you have plenty of time to spare (ours came after 45 minutes so had to get it in a take out and eat it between seeing patients that afternoon). Also, ordering off the menu is a bit pricey for the portion size. The owner does have some anger issues which are less evident now that the kitchen is more separated at the new location.

I agree completely with an earlier reviewer - NOT a great experience (which it could have been) because of the ridiculous price limits per person. I was in town for a visit to my family. I convinced them to go out for Thai. It's Abilene, TX and when I'm in town, I know that I have SO many other great, easy, and inexpensive choices for good food. We were a table of 6 adults and 3 kids for supper. There were only 2 other tables filled in the whole place and they told us that we weren't ordering enough food. We were not too hungry and so we ordered 5 items. - "Please order more...it's good for my business," was Ann's demand. If we had been holding up a table & wasting space then I would have understood her demands. I thought the food was pretty good, the waitress friendly, but will not return because of the "rules" of the house. Turns out forced ordering is "bad for Ann's business". I like to eat out to have fun, feel free, not have to worry, and have a good time with my family. I hope that Ann is able to relax her rules and environment a bit someday so that she can keep serving it up in Abilene.

The best food in town! I eat at Ann's Thai every Thursday and love trying something new, but I have never been disappointed. The lunch specials are just enough food for a perfect price. Ann's Thai is a must!

The food was ok, but not worth it for the price. The waitresses are usually friendly but the owner isn't. She will refuse to serve you unless everyone at the table spends at least 5 dollars on just the food, not counting drinks. So don't expect to share a meal with anyone, or come just to be with friends. You're also not allowed to bring any food or drinks into the restaurant, like a water bottle. To me, this restaurant has bad business sense and no care whatsoever for customer satisfaction. The waitress spent most of the time apologizing to us b/c of the owner. The best thing about this place is probably the environment, everything else... not worth it.

I got the panang curry here and it was the SALTIEST thing i've ever tasted. If you've had good thai you know that's not the way curry should be.
