Nyack Restaurant Guide

if you are ever driving down 59 and happend to miss AMicis then your missing out on the best atmosphere in rockland county. The food there is impeccable to taste and the most amazing thing is the people that work behind the counter the owner and his daughter are amazing people who work hard to make the costumers happy ! and if you are on of those people like the first comment that cannot read the menu correctly ! all of the amazing food comes with salad and bread and pasta what more could you ask for this place is greatt love it from the pizza to the weekly specials !!!

Ordered from Amici, over $50 worth of food - we ordered separate salads because we were not informed when placing order that pasta we got already came with salad - so we ended up having 4 salads..... the small tray the pasta came in was half empty - 6 pieces of ravioli for $9.... not worh the money... Best part - the (how she called herself) "owner Tina", when calling back with some constructive criticism, called us liars, threatend us to come to our business (we are local business place) and - literally - "kick our butts".... Way to go tina, now you have a bad online review. Wouldn't hurt to be more polite at times....

The best pizza that I have had. The taste is unlike any other. Fresh and full of flavor. I am a pizza lover and I try pizza all over the place. Amicis by far is my favorite. Not only is there pizza amazing, their pasta is just as delicious.

I was looking for a place in Nyack that was kid friendly, had decent food, and in a pinch would deliver. Having enjoyed the pizza from time to time while shopping nearby I decided to give the back room dining area a try. What a revelation!The food was excellent. The Mussels Marinara is a must try as is the chicken florentine. Staples such as eggplant, chicken or veal parmigiana were delicious and very generously portioned. Specials such as veal stew over rigatoni or their exceptional sauteed brocolli raab were comparable or superior to some much fancier establishments. If I had one gripe it would be the decor, which needs updating, but that is nitpicking.The service is attentive if somewhat work-a-day and the proprietor always let's you know how special you are to him. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for excellent fresh Italian food for a great price in a laid back atmosphere.

It's pretty hard to get a bad slice of pizza in Nyack, but if you're looking for a slice that will awaken your senses, this is the place. They have a tomato and garlic slice that will blow your mind and a chicken pesto slice is that is delicious. It's a small restaurant, but the people that work behind the counter have character and make you feel welcome. Their dough is perfect; it's thin, crispy on the bottom, and soft but cooked on top. The mix of spices they use on their pizza is tantalizing. When you walk in your nose thanks you. All I've tried was the pizza but am looking forward to expanding my horizons.
