Ashland Restaurant Guide

This place is absolutely the BEST restaurant in schuylkill county. The maryland crab cakes are amazing, the priime rib is out of this world and is always cooked as requested. The servers are so personable and the bar drinks are great and always look so pretty! With out a doubt my favorite restaurant.

I was part of a group of 12 eating at the restaurant on a Tuesday evening. I was shocked at the TINY portions served on the broiled seafood platter! The haddock was literally 2 BITES! 3 TINY shrimp! The crab cake was acceptable portion. This platter was $20 !! To add insult to injury - everything for our group was on 1 check. The added gratuity was approx 22% !!!! Never again.

Just returned from dinner there and I had no idea that this gem was in our area. Nothing but good things to say. Will be going back soon!!!

We were visting from Elizabethtown, Lancaster County, to visit the coal region and stayed in Mahanoy City at the Kaier Mansion B & B. We wanted to go to a nice place for fine dining rather than a pizza shop or bar or family restaurant.

Well, let me tell you, this place was a pleasant surprise. Very nice, very good food, good wine selection.

My prime rib king cut rare was done to perfection and my girlfriend's Chicken Parm was great as well.

And the Strawberry Marsala desert was to die for!

You will not be disapointed!

Excellent find in an inconspicuous setting. Food and service are excellent. What a great surprise. Look forward to dining in the private rooms outside when the weather cools.

I am from the area and never ate here until about 2 years ago. I couldn't believe that I had never eaten here when it was right under my nose. I've been back many times and the food is always very good. I look forward to my next visit.

I have eaten at this restaurant many times,with nothing but good things to say,but not this time! The service was TERRIBLE! Our waitress was pretty much non-existent. The food wasn't very hot,or very good,like it had been in other visits. Nobody came back to ask us if we wanted dessert, we just got our bill,paid and left. What a disappointment.
