My husband and I tried out Alexandria on date night one night and love, love, love the food. It was an early evening date and the restaurant was a little too quiet for our taste, felt like every word could be heard by neighboring diners. But besides that, our experience was great. We had a fava and lentil bean dip appetizer that was amazing. I had a chicken and rice dish that was so plentiful I took home leftovers and the kids devoured it proclaiming it their favorite rice dish EVER, I agree. My husband had a beef and sausage dish which he loved. We followed dinner with espresso of a quality on par with any fine restaurant. And for all of that, the bill was under $40! Overall we loved it and will be going back. Service was very attentive and the restaurant does have a cozy atmosphere.
