A diner from New Smyrna Beach

I have been involved the upper echelons of the hospitality industry for over 6 years, including working alongside Presidents, vice-presidents, CEO’s, CFO’s and their counterparts of MAJOR corporations; Corporations such as Darden for example. I have never seen anything poorer in my opinion. Customer service was non-existent. They held themselves in a clout of "Better than you" attitude. They served us food that was absolutely foul. My kids did not want to eat it and they usually eat anything that is in front of them. In essence they basically said (paraphrasing) “sorry about the food… but now you have to pay for it.” even though we did not eat it. Management “Promised” to make it up the next time we came to visit. We did just that and visited two weeks later. The management refused to do what they offered to do for us. This is a sorry restaurant with poor customer service skills and exceptionally poor management. You can absolutely tell it is family run by the attitude and demeanor of staff/ management in the establishment. If by chance you received great food from this place, congratulations! But eventually you will get the poor service that we received along with the foul food. Establishments like this do not change and only cater to “locals.” How's the old adage go?? Treat a customer right you have them for life, treat them wrong and you lose business and get poor word of mouth for life too.
