Good Indian food for all the family. We like to start our weekends with a visit to an Indian restaurant on Friday evenings. As we were in Houston, we found Abhiruchi Indian Cuisine by searching the web. It was also recommended on a fact sheet in our hotel. Having read some of the reviews on various websites, on Friday morning, however, I was filled with trepidation about it. Still, we thought we'd give it a go. I am glad we did; we could not fault it. Some of the criticisms in other reviews were not in evidence on the evening we dined there. Service was friendly and efficient. Our young daughters were made welcome. The food came promptly and was very tasty. The portions were very generous compared to what we're used to in Ireland. We were not overcharged; everything on the bill was as it should have been and it was not exhorbitantly priced. Do not let the negative reviews put you off; Abhiruchi is a safe bet for good Indian food.
