Very good food and service, a very good value with ample portions of food. Great specials, including a steak with two sides for $6. Would highly recommmed this place.

Smoke, Smoke and Smoke, it actually floats over your head. Has two doors, people coming in both, the servers yelled across the restaurant pointing out any empty tables. The tables are jammed very close together. We were there on all you can eat fish night, which may have made a difference. Food was very good, prices were excellent, but the service was rushed and unfriendly. We will try it again after the smoking ban in May, but we will probably have to wait until June for the smell to leave.

We recently returned to 4 Friends and noticed a great difference in the amount of smoke. I asked the manager and he informed me that they had bowling alley technology smoke suckers and the smoke is non existant any more, so don't let it deter you from visiting!

Food is good, and free the day before, on or after your birthday (with ID of course). Ambiance is typical bar/Grill, nothing fancy, nothing objectionable.

I have to agree with everyone else, however, the smoke is intolerably thick and really distracted me from enjoying dinner as much as I could have. There is no "non-smoking". Perhaps it's just been a long time since I sat in a place that smelled like a bowling alley, but it was what will deter us from eating there again.

If that sort of thing doesn't bother you, I can recommend the place on all its other merits, you won't be disappointed otherwise. Personally, the smoke was too much for us.

Smoky, Smoky and Smoky. We were supposedly in the "no smoking" but people within 23 feet of us were smoking and puffing in our direction. Tables very close together. Food was good but we can't take the smoke so we probably won't go back. Not kid friendly because of the smoke, ours have ashtma (fortunately were not with us on this visit).

THE PLACE WAS A GREAT SURPRISE.. WE HAD HEARD THE FOOD WAS GOOD SO WE DECIDED TO TRY IT OUT.. THE FOOD WAS GREAT AND THE PRICES VERY GOOD, THE SERVER COULD OF SMILED MORE BUT DID GET WHAT WE WANTED..PLACE IS VERY SMOKY THOU.. DOESN'T MAKE A DIFFERENCE IF YOU ARE IN SMOKING OR NOT THE SMELL IS EVERYWHERE (AS SOON AS YOU HIT THE DOOR IN FACT) BUT WE WILL GO AGAIN, BUT ALOT OF OUR FRIENDS CAN'T GO BECAUSE OF THE SMOKE.. I WOULD RECOMMEND THE FOOD AND PRICES THOU.. COULD WORK ON FRIENDLINESS AND THE SMOKE..

We have been coming there since they have opened up.
The food is great with generous portions. Their fish is the best in the area, and "Daves Rueben" is the greatest! Nice and lean corned beef. Try their 4 Friends Burger, it's a belly buster. The only complaint we have is that it is pretty smoky in there.
