Best homemade potato salad I ever ate. Also the best real american fried potatoes. We will go there again when planning a short road trip.

I heard about the wonderful steaks at Whimps and when we tried them they were the best ever. The age and cut their own meat and you can tell that it's quality. The service isn't great, because they are always busy. The worst part is the smoking. There isn't a non-smoking section so that is one reason we don't visit very often. We'd go there once a week if it were non-smoking. Unfortunatly I don't ususally recommend it to friends just because of the smoking issue.

Drove 40+ miles because we heard the burgers were great. We (my wife and I) both ordered burgers and fries, I had tea and she had coffee. The tea was the best part of the whole meal. The coffee tasted like yesterday's. The burgers came without lettuce, tomato or onion on a plain old bun. If there is any allure to Whimps I didn’t see it. We will never go back.
