The biriyani is too good . The gravies are not too colored. Adequate spices for the curries, Lassi is good. The takeout is better than the buffet lunch dishes.

I went for takeout, craving curry. We'd had once before, years ago and it was better then.
When I ordered, I had a cup of chai. It was clearly black tea with milk. Couldn't detect a spice if you paid me. I ordered 2 entrees, puppadoms, said I need rice and the gentleman recommended the Biryani. I ordered relishes as it wasn't clear if that was included.
When I got home, well, the lamb was tough, i paid for an extra rice dish, note, rice IS included, and paid for cucumber raita, which came along with the puppodoms. The tandoori chicken was marginal at best. Bummer. I'm particulaly peeved at the rice and relishes, adding an unecessary $15 to my bill.

Indian
One of the better buffets in Minneapolis. The food is hot, visually appealing and diverse. The naan were very good and the tandoori chicken outstanding.
Indian
Authentic and delicious. Well worth the price. Probably one of the better places to eat in or around Columbia Heights. I now live in St Paul and miss the place terribly.

I love this place...I have worked at this end of the skyway for 23 years and this is one of the best places to eat. I eat there 3-5 days a week and never get tired of the variety served. Carnivors, vegetarians and vegans will find something to tantal ...
Indian
The food is authentic to taste, and the atmosphere is cordial. There is a great vegetarian buffet or you can order from the menu. The chef can prepare Northern and Southern Indian flawlessly!

My family and ate at this Restaurant about 1 month ago. Our experience was the best! My daughter had to do an assignment for school and our server was so helpful! She explained all of the food we had ordered and how to eat it. Beside that experience the food was excellent and we have been back two more times. Keep up the great food!
