Each year I camp out for a week on Cumberland Island. Part of my annual visit includes visits to St. Marys Seafood & Steakhouse. The food is outstanding! The fried alligator tail appetizer is the best! I would also highly recommend their fried corn as a side. The breading on the fried fish and shrimp is very light and doesn't mask the flavor as some heavier batters do. I would also say that Christy, my waitress on my first stop, was exceptional! An all around great experience! I ate their for dinner prior to my camping trip and for lunch a week later when I returned. The price is affordable, the service was excellent and the food was even better! A must if you're within driving distance!

The service was horrible! The waitress served the adults in our party before she brought one of the two kids' dinners out. I had to go into the kitchen to get the forgotten meal. Our drinks stayed empty, no apologies from the owner or staff AND the staff was RUDE to ME when I had to go to the kitchen for my daughter's dinner. I will never darken their doorway again!!! Horrible! Stay away if service means anything to you.
Absolutely the best seafood we've ever had, especially shrimp and scallops. There's something about being there looking at the fishing boats too that adds to this fantastic experience. We love the Georgia Coastal area and go to Lang's each time we

We had a nice seafood dinner and it was delicious

We stop twice a year on our trip from Fort Pierce, Florida to Augusta to visit family. Never had a desire to eat at any other restaurant. Our 97 year old mother said she remembers eating there as a young adult.

Seafood is one of our favorites. We were stationed in St. Mary's for two years and fell in love with St. Mary's Seafood. The portions are more than filling and you get so much for your money. Asside from that the food is fantastic. We live in Maryland now where Crab is the thing to eat...we've yet to find a good seafood restaurant. If you are ever in St. Mary's don't miss out the chance to visit St. Mary's Seafood, you'll be happy you did.

This is the best restaurant in St. Marys I have known these people for over fifteen years and they have prided themselves on great food and number one family atmosphere. If you are traveling through St. Marys I highly reccomend a stop at this restaurant. SSG Larry Rogers
