I'd travel 100 miles to eat at this old-type silverware-clinking and coffee-aromatic Southern cafeteria. Not the big chain feeling at all. The most mouth-watering good food from time-proven recipes. Plain and simple. My favs: crispy fried chicken, moist mac'n'cheese, seasoned greens, loveable Charleston red rice and absolutely tangy lemon (not cream) meringue pie...just let me die with the taste of all these and their sweet tea on my lips!

Although they only do catered events and festivals, the food was great! The food temperature was perfect. We didn't expect the food portions to be so large and the food tasted great! Two-Thumbs-Up
