I was in s&s cafeteria today, June 26 th 2014. I was standing in line a waiting for my food, when a manager,
Mr.Delaney was yelling threw the kitchen window to the workers in the back, he had said that something was stopped up, then I heard him say he did not fell up to this shit today, I heard all this while I was standing in the food line, a waiting for my food, at that time I had thought to myself he was being very rude.as I sat down to eat, I noticed a black came in s&s, he looked as if he might have been homeless an hungry. He was carrying a tray with food on it very small amount of food maybe looked like a child's plate, not much food at all. The mangers where standing against the wall an at that, then I saw the black man walk over to then an they walked him out to the parking lot. The the police was called I guess to take him away, from s&s. I then saw the police talking to him. My husband to Delaney that we had some food we paid for so that we could give him if he was hungry an needing food. But Delaney had said that they did not want him here.the manger was very rude an I think that he could handled things in a much better approach. But did not instead he chose to make a seen out of the deal. An the rudeness an bad language he chose to speak was not exceptable. I also have a small with me at the time I do not speak in such away as he did. I have been a long time customer at s&s for my years like 20 years, I have been eating at s&s. Do love the food but needing a change with the way Mr.Delaney treats people in public.I don't wish to go back to s&s until this as been addressed. the management to helped.I'm so so sorry for the black whom he tried to make look very bad.3 police came up to the black in the parking lot. This was a bad experience.
Manager needs to be replaced.

I'd travel 100 miles to eat at this old-type silverware-clinking and coffee-aromatic Southern cafeteria. Not the big chain feeling at all. The most mouth-watering good food from time-proven recipes. Plain and simple. My favs: crispy fried chicken, moist mac'n'cheese, seasoned greens, loveable Charleston red rice and absolutely tangy lemon (not cream) meringue pie...just let me die with the taste of all these and their sweet tea on my lips!

Great seafood, especially for an outdoor event! We've ate at several restaurants that can't compare to them. They should have a store front... Keep up the good work!
