I can't believe this restaurant isn't jammed every night. The portions are huge and the food is fantastic. The ambience is great and most of the time we feel so comfortable we don't want to leave. Bonus is that it is a BYOB! I do recommned you call and make a reservation on the weekends.

I have visited Anthony's for two decades now, and enjoy the family style atmosphere. The building has been remodeled by the new owners other than that the menu has not changed all that much. The same appetizers, most of the entrees are the same. I liked the original owners pizza better though.
The place has been remodeled but menu items are items that the original Anthony's had. I know that the original owner gave guidance and training to the new owners. Too bad she doesn't give credit for her menu items she maintains and pizza training to them.

This is by far the best small diner in Lackawanna County!!! The owner makes the pies and soup daily from scratch, food is always fresh and tasty, try the rice pudding also home made!!! We go there every week, it's small and there's always a good crowd on hand...makes for an intersting meal!!!
