I dine frequently in downtown. While there are an abundance of great restaurants, Union League stands on top. Consistently impeccable food and service with the most gracious hosts.

The food is so amazing and orgasmic that you won't even care that the service is slow. It is my favorite restaurant in New Haven!

Miya's Sushi of New Haven is a food lover's paradise. Nothing that you will have here to eat you will have tried anywhere else. The homemade sakes, often made from wild ingrdients as sumac and pine, are to die for. Owner and Chef, Bun Lai, is a world class talent.

Miya's in New Haven is a must have experience. We don't think twice about driving almost an hour each way for one of the most unique and wonderful culinary experiences on earth.

Sat night at about 7ish the piano starts and people start to sing."Geppi's" it is the best kept secret in New Haven.Prices are fair food is very flavorful with a different specials every time we go.We love that it is out of the way and never crowded like downtown. We have brought many friends and the...
Let me make mention of the above reviewer, since I was in the restaurant when she made an absurd commotion over an accidental spilling. While all efforts were kindly made to appease the customer, inluding the owner offering to not only foot the bill for the cleaning of the purse, or even to replace ...
WARM FRIENDLY OLD COUNTRY ATMOSPHERE WITH GREAT HOME STYLE COOKING. A MENU THAT HAS SOMETHIONG FOR EVERYONE
The best sushi I have had in the world. Very fresh and always satisfying.
Excellent Sushi, I go often and am never let down. Service is great, staff is very friendly. A great place to bring your family or friends. Clean and nicely decorated.
My husband and I were traveling through and stopped for lunch. I ordered lasagna which was made with their own homemade pasta and was by far the best lasagna I have ever eaten! It was such a large portion I took some home and had it for lunch the next day and it was even better!! They also served ...
We've eaten at Adriana's resturant twice and we loved the food, service, and the people. We can't wait to dine at Adriana's again
mmmm nummie!
Great food, especially their marinara sauce!
The sandwhiches are huge, I couldn't finish my sub. The food is pricey though, so not your everyday spot, but a nice treat.
A very good Deli, great food, very friendly staff. Check out their menu. https://sites.google.com/site/bmdelinewhaven/
I recommend this restaurant for it's great Sushi maid fresh and serve to your table. I recommend to sit on the bar and enjoy the excitement of watching the chef making your Sushi. I've tried other dishes, but for me - Sushi.
Akasaka is good but the best Japanese restaurant in Connecticut, by a long shot, is the cultishly famed fusion Asian restaurant Miya's Sushi in New Haven. The genius behind Miya's is their eccentric young chef/owner Bun Lai who has created one of the most ambitiously original menus that we have eve...
Akasaka makes very good Japanese food in a beautiful restaurant decorated with lots of mahogony. It is the winner of a Connecticut Magazine Award for "best Japanese Restaurant". I go there often because they do a wonderful job and I live near by. But I must mention (only to be honest) that the be...
