We've been eating at Red Moon for years and love it. My kids enjoy the food. I go there for lunches with work folks too and everyone likes it. Staff has always been pleasant although they could check on the drinks more frequently. Overall, one of the better Asian eateries in EP.

I'm asian and usually like to stick to authentic asian restaurants but authentic cuisine does not mean rude customer service.
We ran out of rice at home so stopped in Red moon to purchase a bowl. First they didnt want to sell just a bowl of rice then they said ok. They charged $2.15 for 1 bowl of rice!
I decided I was in a bind and said ok. I tried to use my credit card since I didnt have cash on hand. They laughed and said I couldnt use my card.
I looked around for a sign that stated a minumum purchase amount for credit cards and didnt see any. They said they would be charged fees around $0.30. I offered to pay the extra 30 cents to cover the fee and still they declined.
Then I tried to pay with a check. They laughed again. Again I looked for a no check sign, none. The lady said if it was a bad check it would cost them $0.60.
I left and tried Pei-wei a corporate americanized asian restaurant and was treated much differently. One box of white rice actually cost only $0.50 and they didnt have any problem with me using a credit card.
Usually I like to support small asian restaurants since they have to compete with larger corporate restaurants but Red moon is not one of them.
Very good chinese food. Super friendly owners who are willing to add your favorites to menu items, or change items for allergies. Something for everyone here. A family favorite.
THE BEST FOOD AT THE BEST PRICE WITH THE BEST SERVICE. oWNERS AND EMPLOYEES ARE VSRT ATTENTIVE AND COURTEOUS. UOU NUST TRY IT, YOU WON'T BE DISAPPONTED.
Have eaten there since i had baby teeth. Owners are very friendly and food is great. If you have never been there before, a must-have to order, is their chicken wings. IT IS ONE OF THE BEST! Crispy and great to dip in duck sauce (sweet n tangy). Lo M

I've been going there for years. They have great food and great prices. It's great for lunch on a workday.
The only thing that could be improved is the service. I guess since it's self serve they don't pay a lot of attention, but if they could check on the tea and water levels a little more often, the place would be perfect.
