I frequent this restaurant often with my family. I have seen many Managers come and go at this particular location. The current Manager, Michael Long is probably the best of the bunch. But he sure has his hands full. It seems that this location in particular seems to attract many families with parents of very questionable parenting skills. Children just run amok. It is a very dangerous place for we senior citizens. No matter what the Managers try to do to keep the peace, everyday is an adventure. The food is great. The workers there really do try to be friendly, but with the clientele they get, its hard for them. We are good tippers. We see how hard they work, but it seems that less than half, leave the waitresses ANYTHING. I do realize that the economic times are hard, but its hard for everyone, including waitresses. It seems that buffets in general attract the cheap, low-class, and un-educated portion of our population. The Managers here at this location go out of their way to great their customers everyday. I've never seen this at other types of restaurants. They seem to really care about their employees to. This Manager, Michael Long especially. He's only been at this restaurant for a few months, but he is a HUGE improvement from the previous Manager, Mr. Headman. That guy was a jerk. Even his own employees didn't like him. He was always being rude with them and even his customers. Anyway, I know that Old Country Buffet had filed for bankruptcy, but I sure hope my favorate restaurant stays open. I don't know what I'd do if they closed. My husband and I have eaten there for the last 16 years, 2-3 times a week. Please stay open!
