I moved from Rockford (job) 26 years ago and still remember the early John's Pizza on 11th Street, even after moving my relatives left in Rockford still enjoyed John's Pizza. I have yet to taste any pizza that compares to John's in all these years. When I come back to Rockford for a visit one day that will be one of my very first stops. Excellent pizza and service. My father has since passed and mother moved out-of-state nine years ago and still talks about John's being the best pizza ever.

Not very vegetarian friendly if your not into pizza- especially for an Italian restaurant. Waitress had dosed herself with some heavy perfume - better restaurants ask waitstaff to not wear colognes or perfumes. It killed my appetite!!!
