I have spent over 300 dollars a year here before tips, and at least 60 dollars a weekend here before tips. This weekend they had a bouncer who thought that he owned the place, and even pushed me, and said "I quit, I'm going to beat this guys ass". It is the first time I have seen him, and I wish your establishment luck with this piece of shit, useless employee. I'd rather spend my money somewhere else and be respected, than be talked down to by some bouncer. Your other bouncers do a great job to diffuse situations in your bar, but this employee that just came back is a waste of oxygen. You won't get service from me or my friends ever again.

I love this resturant!!!!! I have eaten there probably 30 times and have never had a bad meal.... the servers are wouderful. Josh was an amazing server!!!! He did an Outstanding job. The place was clean and within 5 min of a table leaving, the bussers would come in and get it cleaned and reset! The food was to die for. I went on Valentine's Day and had to wait alittle bit but had no problem with that, just go to the bar and get a drink. Overall it was the best meal i have had in a while and i travel alot. Great job!!! AMAZING!!!

I brought 12 hungry people to the double ll, after calling Jeremy and telling him we were coming he told me the table would be ready, it was. Josh our server was great, kept everyone happy and offered advice on selections. Our service was fast but we dined, not just ate. The food was wonderful, and we ordered everything from steaks to ribs, chicken and shrimp. Almost everyone took boxes home because of the portions of food. The prices was just right for what you received. You can tell how good the food was because when it arrived all the talking stopped. Thanks for a great meal and service. We'll be back!

Had reservations for Valentine's Day at 6:00 pm. At 6:45 we were just being seated. The waiting area was full of people that had 6 pm reservations but were still standing around waiting. The hostess was yelling out names and very frustrated. Why take more reservations than you have tables available?? If they are going to charge $36 for a Ribeye, I would expect some great service. After finally being seated, we waited another 10 minutes before a server came to take our drink order. By this time we couldn't take it any longer and left. What a waste of an evening!! I no longer have any desire to go back!!

The entire experience was spectacular!! As for not being "kid friendly", GOOD. Nothing ruins a night like an undisciplined, screaming child. The wine menue was down right impressive. Best in the valley, owner knows his wines. Food was outstanding. Server knew every question I had, down to the origin of the produce. Keep up the good work. We'll be back.

Horrible!!! Etremely high prices for EXTREMELY bad food. It tastes like everything wes put into a deep fryer for 45 minutes and no flavor was added. Our table (9 adults), had to wait approx 30 minutes to even get a menu, another 20 minutes to order, and after ordering we were told 30 minutes later that one of the items (tri tip), that two of us ordered was no longer available. Should it really take 30 minutes to come back to our table to tell us this??!! We were willing to try this over priced restaurant assuming the food must be to die for. But the taste of our meals, along with the outrageous bill is what really almost killed us! I will personally make sure none of my friends have to endure the nightmare we went through.

The first time we went to Double L was many months ago, it was remembered as "o.k.". We just went again last night and were so disappointed. The prices are ridiculous! We hadn't remembered them being that high. The very casual style and ambience suggest a much lower priced menu and no need for a plethora of wines on the wine list that is oh so unorganized. The server was very pleasant and young, and for all those wines, they ought to teach the servers how to suggest and how to serve it, even just in a normal way. A slow Friday night, and food took forever to arrive! maybe 40 mins after ordering. All who work there seem friendly, but of no avail w/all the others shortcomings. Not going back again. Next time, the Depot in Visalia is a much better bet, all the time.

Yeah, OK, the food was good... nothing to write home about. I asked for the firecracker prawns and was told that I would not be able to get them, they are reserved for the owners friends... Service was a little above average for a slower night. It was clean enough, crumbs on my wifes seat, and in the corner by our table. Our Daughter and Son were well behaved. There was no special attention of any kind... no coloring books. It was good, but over priced!! I have had better! I would still like to get some firecracker prawns.. but I will not be going back.

We LOVE the LL! The prime rib is amazing! There is plenty of food, no matter what you order off the menu. Lots of choices for any taste. The bartenders are very helpful if you want any kind of specialty drink. I have never seen any evidence of being less than clean or well-run. There is a great ambiance in the bar and in the dining room.

I live in Moorpark and go to Visalia once or twice a month. Double L is where my customers always want to go. Crab Legs are specacular. Firecracker prawns and Firecracker Lobster chunks are amazing. I've eaten there probably twenty times, and never had a less than great dining experience. The only problem with this restaurant is that I usually leave stuffed out of my mind.

this place is so gross .. dont let the appearance fool you.. you think its upscale but the last time i went i had a 300 bill (which was expected) but then i saw two mice running around and when i told the waiter his reply was " this is an old building.. that happens" my roomate found dead flies in her mixed drink .. when she brought it to the bartendars attention .. he tried to deny it! how GROSS
