Having lived in Southern California from 1985 till 2008 i know authentic Mexican food Armando's was a totally wonderful surprise. Born and raised in Detroit I never knew of this neighborhood till coming back to visit and was turned on to Mexican Village by a local. This is as good as what you'll find on Olvera Street> Thank you Keith for a unexpected treat!

Great food! Not greasy, fairly priced, excellent and fast service. Casual atmosphere. The only reason I give it a three for kid friendly is because there's no changing station in the bathroom. We think this is the best Mexican in Detroit!!!
