 The "special" is by far the best sub ever! I have a hard time finishing 1/2! (you can order 1/2 or a whole with your choice of pickles/hot peppers or both) I have been a "regular" since the early 70's - now they have added other types of subs/sandwiches which I have not tried as the special is so incredible! They are all made to order - no stale, soggy subs sitting around, so you may have to wait a few minutes if you don't call ahead. The small building does not have any facilities to eat inside - in high school my sister and I would share one and go to the shopping center across the street to eat it! Wonderful memories!

My parents started going to Terry's in the 60's and my sister & I continue the tradition, although now I have to bring a Terry's Special to my Mom every time I go see her because she lives so far away. It's a special treat for her. If you haven't had a sub from Terry's you haven't had a "real" sub. Go get yourself one today!!!

Great sandwich and good deal
The "special" is all italian meats and cheeses and
is delicious...
Loyal customer since 1965..
knew Terry well..
I remember the sign at the(first?) old roseville
location..
it was a picture of Terry with his
mouth open wide
trying to geta bite of a huge sandwich
Im glad this shoppe and sandwich have survived
wish I lived closer.

Started eating Terrys subs when he was at the location in Roseville, in 1965..I remember Terry well.. Happy to see that this sandwich has lived on..I always stop to get a Terrys special when im in town..

I had my first Terry's back in 1965 or so, when he was located on Gratiot and 10 Mile next to the Renault dealer. It was a much bigger location with booths and Terry would make the subs in the back left corner.

Have been eating Terri's Subs since Imoved to Michigan in 2001. The BEST BEST subs, and value!!

I enjoy one of Terri's Special (full) one or two times per week. It is large enough for two people. It satisfies me all day.......provides me with both lunch and dinner.........................AWESOME!!!!!!!

Eat at Terri's at least twice a week. The BEST subs around. Good prices, friendly service. You cannot beat this place.

I have come to terrys since i was a kid. My father used to take me there. I remember Terry himself. He said he put all his kids through college by selling 1 submarine " the terrys special". I still go every month to enjoy my absolute favorite sandwich.

Amazing historical submarine sandwiches, virtually unchanged since the 50's. Fresh and crusty Italian Bread, freshly sliced meats,veggies and condiments all wrapped in waxed butcher paper. I have loved this gem since I first started visiting in the 80's. It is a damn shame that they had to install bulletproof plexiglass several years ago. This should NOT scare you away though. Try it, you will LOVE Terri's Subs.
