 Great Place to go for lunch. River views are beautiful, food is very good. Don't expect fine dining though. Its a very casual family atmosphere. Go to Kozy's if you want elegance.

 This restaurant is near the top of my list of things I miss about my hometown after moving away several years ago. Visiting home usually involves a trip to Cypress Inn as well.

 The view from the windows overlooking the Black Warrior River is great, especially during the day (at lunchtime). The food is very good, but not TOO fancy. My favorite dish here is the Smoked Chicken with White BBQ Sauce. The squash casserole is also very good. My brother-in-law really enjoys the Shrimp Cypress Inn and they are known for having great fried catfish.
