I live in southeast Ga now and have since I was four - that is 24 years. That is 24 years thatI couldn't have my Taco Casa daily...ugh! I want more of the chain all over the state. I love the sauce and everytime we go home for a visit..we buy them and bring them back with us. They bay far blow Taco bell out of the water and cannot wait to sink my teeth into another burrito with some of that GREAT sauce!!! I love Taco Casa and suggest it to everyone I ever take home with me! My kids and hubby love it too!

I left Tuscaloosa 27 years ago after graduating. I have missed Taco Casa for 27 years. On the rare occasions when I have business in Georgia, I rent a car and drive the 5 hour round trip to Birmingham and eat at Taco Casa. I am also sad that the Hwy280 location closed when I went there about 3 years ago. I wish Taco Casa would bottle their sauces for online ordering.they would make millions!

Perhaps it was a bad night, but the rice was a cold lump and the shrimp was not de-veined. It made me feel physically ill and my husband rated it simply as "slop." Will not be going back. 9 bucks a plate is too much for such poor quality and prese ...

I grew up in Auburn, moved to Tallahassee in the early nineties, but always remembered a restaurant with the BEST tacos in the whole world. Never found any tacos anywhere else that tasted like them. The Auburn location is long gone, and I couldn't even remember the name of the restaurant. I was in Tuscaloosa last week on business, and SAW THE BIG CACTUS!! I entered, it smelled the same, ate tacos and burritos (with the plastic wrap!!!), and was in heaven. YEAH, Taco Casa!!!!!

The Taco Salad (with adequate salsa and picante sauce) is delicious. However, without enough sauce and/or salsa, the salad is too dry and rather bland. I have found that EVERY Taco Casa in Tuscaloosa is way too stingy with the sauce. I always have to pay "extra" for enough sauce. That's just plain ridiculous. Even when I offer to PAY for extra sauce and/or salsa, I find the employees are very guarded in providing enough sauce. Why are they so protective of the sauce?? Don't you think keeping the customer happy is worth more than a couple of small cups of mild sauce? If this "charge for the extra sauce" policy continues then Taco Casa may end of "keeping the sauce" and losing the customers.

Growing up in Tuscaloosa brought many fond memories, but none more than Taco Casa. I have yet to find any food that compares. Their tacos, burritos, messe nachos, and taco salad have to be #1 on my list of favorite foods ever! The first stop on ANY trip back to Tuscaloosa for my wife and I is Taco Casa...and it probably always will be.

I've fond memories of Taco Casa, used to love their bean burritos. Unfortunately, the location where I live is long defunct, so if I spot one in my travels, I have to stop in!

I went by the Taco Casa location on Hwy 280 today and much to my dismay saw that it was CLOSED!! Also found out that the Wildwood location has also closed!! What happened?? The last couple of times I was at the 280 location, it seemed like the service behind the counter had seriously diminished--too much horseplay by the young workers behind the counter and not enough attention being paid to the food prep. The Hwy 280 location has been there forever, the good food and service that was once there will be missed!!

The Drive thru is very slow and last night I had the worst experience, the female at the drive thru window, reached into the lemon bowl with her ungloved 3 inch yellow plastic nails (using them as a tong) to pick up the lemons to go into my tea and proceeded to stick her fingers into my drink to place the lemons into the cup, I will never eat there again. Inside or out. This was at the Northport Location in the Tuscaloosa area, but I will not eat at any of the locations after that experience.

I grew up in Tuscaloosa Alabama and moved to GA when i was 16 . I regret it everyday . WHY? I miss Taco Casa soooooooooooooooo much. The food is always so good the service might be a little slow when it is busy but it is sooooooooooooooo worth it . I would give my hole paycheck just to have a shipment of Sancho's and the cinnamon and sugar chips sent to my house everyweek. I Love Taco Casa And everybody I have ever taken there with me feel in LOVE with it to . I wish they were arround like Taco Bell they would so put them out of buisness.Best food Ever.

I was in Tuscaloosa on my way to Louisiana and ate at taco casa. There were seven of us and we all thought it was awful. Everything was frozen and heated up and the burritos had something that resembles a tire mark texture on the tortilla. Two people opted for McDonalds. The enchillada or whatever it was, looked like cheap nacho cheese floating in a black plastic something. Either way if you want some bad food or a really good laugh go to this place.

Northport service is sooooooooooo slow, I waited 8 minutes 9-20-06 @5:pm at the order station with no one in front of me but 5 angry cars behind me. Finally after horn blowing she took my order. This is the most I've waited, but they are normally slow. See you at the Mall.

Taco Casa is THE best Mexican restaurant in Alabama. When we come to Alabama football games, we eat Taco Casa several times every weekend. Try the tacoburger or sancho and the sweet tea is the best around. Also, for dessert, try a bag of sopapias.

I have lived near TACO CASA for years and do like the food. But the Service at the Northport location is painfully slow, and should be avoided during any normal eating hour. While the food remains excellent, the service leaves a bad taste.
