I don't know why grand junction does not have a fine dining aproach to the valley? Several wineries on the western slope have emerged to be creating stellar wines! The winery restaurant has been around for along time and I think it deserves recognition!! To compare it to any other establishment in the valley is wrong! Go see for yourself! Compare the prices to Outback Steak House! You will come back!

There are many good restaurants in Grand Junction so why go to the Winery? After having been there I would have to say there really isn't a good reason that I can think of. The service was inattentive bordering on rude. The food was mediocre; over spiced and over cooked pork roast swimming in a sea of bland, tasteless mashed potatoes. To make this evening truly complete the management proceeded to tell us that our waiter was his most requested when we tinformed him of the poor service that we had received to that point in the evening. An assertion that was reiterated when we left. I left feeling like my input to him was entirely unwelcome and unheeded. Not an experience to be repeated.
