About White Rose Cafe
White Rose Cafe has been a landmark in downtown Union for more than 75 years. Originally starting as a single pump gas station serving White Rose gas it has grown into the 116 seat cafe it is today. Mary, one of the owners, is a granddaughter of Joe Klenke the man who first pumped the White Rose gas all those years ago.
The menu features "home-style" food like country fried steaks, homemade soups and chili, breakfast all day long with daily and evening specials. Most of the servers have worked at White Rose since opening day so they know how to make you feel welcome.
