The food was OK, not my idea of decent lobster, but the mashed potatoes were good. However, the attendant did not replace them when the buffet was out, told me they were not going to make any more, then I saw the attendant place a full tray of them in the buffet as I was leaving!!!! Too many other places to go than to go back there.
I'm 51 years old and this is absolutely the worst restaurant experience of my life. It was AWFUL. The food was terrible, the facilities were nasty at best. The food was terrible. The crablegs had green mold on them. This was the first day of our trip and it nearly ruined our entire trip. Never again.
We are from Texas, and are particular about our ribs and barbecue. Shorty Smalls met our high standards. We had a great meal, and great service. It is the place to go for a good meal in Branson.
I did call back and ask what they put in their cheese

We came here because of the amazing online reviews, and I am glad to admit that all of them matched our experience. We had an amazing dinner, excellent service, and one of the best sushi I ever had.

The lobster has freezer burn, and the tail was tougher than chewing on leather. My whole family was sick the next day. We couldn't enjoy our last day at Branson.

The food was tasteless. It was not the cleanest and the silverware was not clean and even bent out of shape!!! Service was ok. Avoid if possible.

The buffet looked REALLY nice and the food was OK, but the cleanliness, or LACK of, really took away from the entire experience. We knew we were in trouble when the waiter brought our drinks and immediately took my son's back for a new glass. Then halfway through my glass I realized mine was FILTHY too! Then we couldn't seem to find ANY silverware that was CLEAN in the entire restaraunt. My daughter dropped hers on the floor and we couldn't find another clean one to replace so we washed it ourselves and figured it was cleaner than anything they could offer us!
Our waiter (Keith) was HEAVEN! He kept our glasses full, and our table clean. And he was VERY fast with any requests we had.
I would AVOID this place at all costs.

Deep red, succulent whole lobsters. Boiled shrimp cooked to perfection. Crab legs with butter and lemon dripping off your plate. Then go back and get some more. The food was very good, and even though the restaurant was attached to a gift shop in a hotel, it still was a great meal. The waitstaff were very accommodating, giving lessons in cracking open the lobster and crab. If you go to Branson, make time to enjoy this restaurant!

I love it! All of their food is good. They do have menu available for those who do not want the buffet.

$25 all you can eat lobster! There isn't anymore I can say. This place is very casual and reservations were not necessary. We just returned from Branson this weekend. Going in the winter is fantast.

We love seafood and were willing to overlook the surroundings for lobster. For $24.95, where are you going to get all-you-can-eat lobster?

The Whipper Snapper is a seafood buffet with all you can eat lobster, crab legs, fish, and some nonseafood items. While the price is about $20 per person, we found it easy to find two for one coupons with made this an extordinary value. We will definately made a stop here on our next trip to Branson.
