Admittedly I was nervous about eating at the Washoe Grill last Friday night because of the last review - which was bad. Our experience wasn't any better. First of all - they changed the menu since we had eaten there last (which wasn't that long ago). Now, you cannot get a baked potato with a steak. Now, maybe it's just me, but I like a baked potato with my steak!
I ended up eating prime rib - most of which I cut (or tried to cut up) for my dog. He wouldn't eat it! The mashed potatoes were good.
The other two people in my party ordered the halibut, which they said was pretty flavorless.
Either the Washoe Grill has run out of money, or they need to hire a new chef. Our meal was $150.00 for three people.
Oh, the $29.00 bottle of Cabernet was fantastic.
We will not be back.

I used to frequent Ichiban in its old location. Now that they have relocated to Harrah's, quality seems to have gone down. The food at the Teppanyaki, while generally good, has never been amazing, and but the ambience used to be excellent. Unfortu ...

I am originally from the Midwest and was very disappointed with the quality of the "steak". Did not have the corn fed taste that on grows accustom to in the Midwest. Everyone I had spoken to recommended Harrah's and told me that the quality was top n ...

We had always eaten at this restaurant. We had reservations and were 5 mins. late because my niece had a toddler. They made a huge issue of it even though the restaurant wasn't busy. We were told we would have to wait 20 mins to be seated. I aske ...

Super place to eat. Great service, wonderful food. The lamb is to die for, the ribs out of this world, and the onion blossom is a meal in itself. My wife and I can't wait to return for another fabulous meal.

My wife and I went to Washoe expecting great food as it is a higher end restaurant in Reno, NV but were disappointed. My steak was charred and tasted like it had sat on the grill too long. My wife's salmon was poorly prepared and only had a strong, almost rotten, fish taste to it; she ended up having food poisoning that night because of it. I also had some of her salmon and felt ill, but did not end up throwing up all night like she did. I would avoid Washoe Grill, there are many other great restaurants in Reno more worth the cost of Washoe.

Good food, fair price, kids menu okay, but they brought kids food first and kids had nothing to do or eat when adults ate. Took along time for meal to come.
