I explicitly told the waitress who first talked to me that this was my first time in the restaurant, and that I had planned on going to a neighboring business, but they were closed for the holiday. The waitress turned out to be the owner, and promptly told me not to go to the other business as much as I should hers. The service was terrible, for I was ignored in favor of the regular customers. The sandwich wasn't good, and the soup was decent. I wouldn't justify spending as much as I did for what I got. It took about ten, fifteen minutes for them to even acknowledge I was finished with my meal and ready for the bill, and they only had five other tables. But as I had mentioned earlier, the waitresses and owner were too busy talking to established customers, making me feel both unneeded and unpleasant. I thought I would give this place a try since it is in my neighborhood, but I would rather go to Old Town to Fralia's, where the food comes fast and the service is amazing.
