Great bbq ! we try to stop by every time we head for the coast. peacan pie is the best and,the people that work there are as good as food !

My wife and I stopped here on the way back from a weekend getaway in Port Aransas. While the building itself was bit rundown, the waitstaff was very courteous and the food was fantastic!
I had the brisket and sausage plate while my wife had the chopped beef plate. Both plates came with all the fixins (sliced bread, sauce, potato salad, beans, pickles and onions). With drinks, our total came to just under $20. A good meal at at a good price!

We stopped here after leaving Corpus Christi, on our way to California. It was exceptional BBQ. We eat a lot of BBQ, and this stood out as one of the best. We ordered as for take out on the road.
This is the very best BBQ I have ever eaten!!!!
The prices are great! The service is exceptional!! They are the friendliest bunch you will ever find. I will make it a point to stop there every time I am in South Texas! I will go out of my way to stop. Come hungry, but save room for some pecan pie or peach cobbler! GREAT JOINT!!
