New Heritage Diner 24 Hours 80 River St, Hackensack (201) 342-6757  This diner was smaller than the usual diner. There was plenty of service--no wait time on a Sunday afternoon. The price was in line with other diners. The atmosphere was cozy. Our hyper eight year old was welcome. We'll be there again.

Harleys Irish Pub American, Irish, Brewery/Pub/Tavern, Casual/Family 366 River St, Hackensack (201) 342-4747  Harley's is a great place for good inexpensive food with a nice pint of beer. We love the staff and are always treated like family. I would highly recommend the onion soup, wing dings and bar pizza! never had anything we didnt like!
