P & Js Diner American, Diner 2125 N Fayetteville St, Asheboro (336) 672-2244  Good food, fast friendly service, affordable prices.... what more can you ask for in a restaurant? Okay, so maybe the "ambiance" isn't the greatest, but the chicken-n-dumplings on thursday make up for any shortcomings. Taste just like mom made em. :)...

#7	Chick-Fil-A of Center Point Plaza Fast Food Center Point Plaza, Asheboro (336) 633-1303  A little pricy for what you get, but it's fast, good, the place is clean, and the service is always top notch. I'll usually pay a little more if everything else is in line, and they have it together.

#8	La Hacienda Restaurant Latin, Mexican, Fast Food 1552 E Dixie Dr, Asheboro (336) 625-6700  Good value, fast service. As of Feb09, they still didn't serve alcohol. Doesn't matter to me one way or the other, but it might make a difference to some.
