#1	Shanghai Restaurant Chinese 11 Douglas Ave, Elgin (847) 695-2644  Love this place! Not only do they serve Chinese food but also Thai. This IS my favorite restaurant in downtown Elgin and the food and service is great. Nice place to meet friends and family for a great Chinese or Thai dinner.
