Akinas Thai Restaurant Asian, Thai, Fine Dining 23 S Grove Ave, Elgin (847) 488-0203  I would have to say this is one of the best restraunts in Elgin. The food is fresh and flavorful. With many vegetarian and vegan options. Akinas has a fun, friendly atmosphere. This is one of my favorite places to go.

#3	Elliot's Off Broadway Deli Deli/Sandwich/Subs, Fast Food 2541 Technology Drive, Elgin (847) 551-3354  It was a fantastic experience. When I arrived there was a long line however I got through the line with ease and quickness. I will be enjoying another panini there again. It was excellent.

Jimmy's Charhouse American, Steak House, Casual/Family, Fast Food 2290 Point Blvd, Elgin (847) 783-0200  Food is very good with better than expected portion size. The restaurant is overly loud and our table found ourslves almost yelling to hear each other. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Drinks were a good value.
